I started my Mary Kay business with just three family and friends at my first party. No big crowd. No perfect plan. Just passion, grit, and a dream.
Fast forward 11 years, and what began as a hobby evolved into a business that’s grown with me through many seasons of life—I’ve coached women to launch their own successful Mary Kay business, and earned not one, but two career cars. Now, I’m on track to become the youngest Pink Cadillac driver in Minnesota.
During the chaos of COVID, I became debt-free paying off $45,000 in debt- following the Dave Ramsey plan. In 2024, hit the jackpot with a husband named Aaron and we bought our dream home. And I'm not stopping there—I’m committed to paying it off in 7 years so I can step into my next big goal: starting a family and being a present, intentional mom.

Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants who reach the status of Mary Kay Independent Sales Directors can earn the use of a Cadillac XT5 (or cash in lieu of). The Cadillac program was started by Mary Kay Ash to reward the best of the best. Earning the use of a Pink Cadillac takes work and dedication. Approximately 1.5% of Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants reach the status of Independent Sales Director. Approximately 10% of Mary Kay Independent Sales Directors earn the use of the iconic Pink Cadillac.
The Career Car Program also includes the opportunity to earn the use of a Chevy Equinox and Chevy Trax (or cash in lieu of). Approximately 1% of Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants meet the criteria to earn the use of a career car (or cash in lieu of).
Since the Mary Kay Career Car Program’s inception in 1969, more than 171,000 independent sales force members have qualified or re-qualified to earn the use of a Mary Kay Career Car. There are currently over 3,600 Career Cars on the road nationwide, including over 1,000 Pink Cadillacs.
